EunSun Kim with her Nickname of ‘Zo'e Becomes the Goddess of Beauty after Two-Jaw Surgery

On June 28th at GTV's makeover show 'JungSoo Byun's Look At Me,' there appeared many women with long chins. Their nickname were ‘a woman with a long chin’, ‘witchlike face’, or ‘Zo'e.’ What they all had in common was their exceptionally long and prognathic jaw. Especially, the story of EunSun Kim(23) with her nickname of ‘Zo'e’ made many audience cry. Zo'e refers to a native tribe in Amazon rainforest who wear a wooden plug piercing the bottom lip.

EunSun came up to Seoul to become a hairdresser but felt deeply wounded by customer’s cruel remarks: customers called her ‘hairdresser with a long chin’ or ‘hairdresser with a long face.‘

In addition to sociophobia, there was one more reason to quit hairdresser.
Her job made her eat fast in a given time, but because of her malocclusion and pain in temporomandibular joint, she couldn't chew but swallow food. As a result, she had to rely on digestive medicine all the time.

In her school days she was teased and bullied because of her long chin. It was hurtful for her mother to watch all these days but she couldn't afford any surgery for her daughter.

EunSun Kim with her heartbreaking story is healed through the Face Dental Clinic and JungSoo Byun's Look At Me. Dr. Lee Joong-kyou from the Face Dental Clinic, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who was in charge of EunSun's malocclusion and prognathic jaw, explains "EunSun had a typical prognathic jaw. Her sides of nose were sinking and the upper jaw was protruded. Through two-jaw surgery, the upper jaw is pulled forward to lift the sides of nose and the lower jaw is pushed back to make a shorter and narrower jaw."

EunSun Kim appeared at the studio like the goddess of beauty after having two-jaw surgery. The show host JungSoo Byun was filled with admirations and said "Where's your jaw gone? A desperate woman has become a beauty!"
